What services can we provide?
We offer three different services:

  • Research
  • Report writing
  • Administration support

and you can chose which services you require for each case you send to us. Please refer to the ‘about us’ page for more information on each of these services.

Who is responsible for the advice?
You are. The reports contain your advice, and are signed by you. Whilst we will consider the information contained within the fact find and how it relates to the product recommended as part of the ‘double check’ approach, the responsibility for the advice and the compliance of the file rests with you, and as such should be subject to the same compliance procedures as internally produced files.

What timescales apply?
Once we have all the information we need from you, reports will be issued to you within 5 working days. Should you require a report more urgently, an express service can be offered, however you would need to request this and an additional fee would apply.

What information do we need to write your report?
A case checklist is provided to you, listing all the required documents, but typically we will need a fully completed fact find, risk questionnaire, existing policy information and details of the recommendation you have made, or the nature of the products you would like us to research.

Can we tailor reports to match your existing format?
One of the items we will request from you when we begin working with you is a sample report. This will enable us to ensure that any reports we produce for you match your existing style. We can include company logos, match existing colour schemes and fonts. We aim to make all reports written by Perks Paraplanning Solutions match the reports produced in your offices.

How will we send you your reports?
We will send you a PDF version of the report, as well as an editable word document should you wish to make any changes.

Are we registered under the Data Protection Act?
Perks Paraplanning Solutions are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and follow all data protection requirements.

Are we VAT registered?
Perks Paraplanning Solutions are not VAT registered.
